Who we are
This platform is operated by Standards Exchange / GAM Standards (Global Asset Management Standards), the controller of personal data processed through this platform. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@gamstandards.com.
What we collect
- Account and profile data (name, email address, job title, representing firm)
- Working group membership and roster information
- Messages you post in discussion threads
- Documents you upload
- Questions you submit to AskAI and the collection you asked about
- First-party usage analytics (pages viewed, resources downloaded), collected only with your consent
We do not intentionally request sensitive personal data. Because AskAI questions, discussion posts, and other free-text fields can contain information you choose to provide, please do not submit sensitive personal data in them.
Purposes
- Operating the platform: publishing resource collections and supporting working groups
- Managing working group membership and collaboration
- Communicating with you about your account and group activity
- Answering AskAI questions and using de-identified, aggregate question themes to suggest improvements to collection FAQs
- Understanding how the platform is used, to improve it (analytics, with consent)

- Google Cloud — EU (hosting and storage); Vertex AI global endpoint (AI-assisted content drafting)
- SendGrid — US (email delivery)
- LinkedIn — US (optional profile sync)
Cookies

You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
AskAI uses browser session storage to keep the current conversation for the life of the tab. It may also keep up to five recent questions in local storage for up to 90 days so you can ask them again. This AskAI browser data is cleared when you sign out.
Retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active, unless a shorter period applies. AskAI questions are automatically deleted after 90 days and are deleted sooner when the associated account is erased. De-identified FAQ-opportunity summaries and recent questions stored in your browser also expire after 90 days.
Your rights
Under applicable data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure of your data
- Portability of the data you provided
- Restriction of processing
- Objection to processing

Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this platform, and the current version will always be available on this page.
